·         The International Center helps the school system facilitate effective instruction for English language learners in many different areas. As a central registration center, children are assessed, evaluated and placed appropriately.  Families understand the school system and what is expected of them.  Community organizations and outreach opportunities are made available for the families and the system’s schools.

·         Faculties and staff are made aware through many varied opportunities (staff development, newsletters, etc.) of effective strategies for instructing the second language learner.
