GHS cracks Class AAA poll at No. 8

ATLANTA - The Gainesville High football team finally cracked the AP Top 10 prep poll this week, debuting at No. 8 behind Westside-Augusta and just ahead of Thomasville.

Gainesville (7-0) is coming off an impressive 38-0 win over West Hall, who was unbeaten at the time.

The Red Elephants have allowed just 21 points over the past four games, recording three shut outs.
