The Board of Education elected by the owners base their decisions on a common set of beliefs.

We believe that….

  • All students can learn and contribute

  • Learning is a shared responsibility shared by students, educators, parents, and the community

  • People have varied learning styles and needs

  • Hard work contributes to success

  • Higher expectations encourage higher performance

  • Our responsibility is to challenge the intellect of all children

  • Schools create environments that promote learning

  • Physical, emotional and psychological safety is a fundamental human need

  • A climate of healthy risk-taking encourages learning

  • Effective organization requires good stewardship of resources

  • Personal and organizational improvement requires ongoing effort

  • Effective relationships are based on respect, trust and honest communication

  • A strong democracy depends on an educated population

  • With rights come responsibilities

  • People are responsible for their choices

  • Learning is a continuous and rewarding process
