The mission of the Gainesville City School System Alumni Affairs and Public Relations Department is to develop and implement fundraising/donation activities that will impact teachers, students, parents, administration and community.  A variety of partnerships will be cultivated throughout the community that will generate lasting educational support and a positive impression of the Gainesville City School System. The Alumni Affairs & Public Relations Department will act as a liaison between Gainesville City School System and the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, local industry, businesses, non-profit organizations, governmental entities and the medical community. An active alumni program which will support the goals and objectives of the school system will be created.  The local, state and national media will provide an optimistic channel for communication which will play a vital role in the public relations program.
