Optimist Club Artist

Fifth grader Junior Bonilla was
the winner of the Gainesville Optimist Club's first
annual, "What Peace Means to Me" art contest. He was
honored at the Respect for Law banquet and presented
with an award
and framed certificate. He can be seen in the above

Sister City Artists
Each
year, exceptional art students are selected to have their
artwork chosen for Gainesville's Sister City Art Show. After
the exhibit, Gainesville students' work is sent to Ohito, Japan,

Wrigley Card Design Artists
|

|
Each year, Fair Street students
submit holiday illustrations to Wrigley, our Partner in
Education. Wrigley selects an outstanding drawing from a
3rd, 4th, and 5th grade student for the cover design of
their annual Holiday cards. These cards are sent all over
the world, with the winning student artist acknowledged on
the card. The 2006 Wrigley Card Artists are picture
below.
