The 2006-2007 Fair Street Yearbook Cover Contest has announced this year’s winners. The first place winner is Yury Vanegas, a 5^th grader in Mr. Graham’s room.  Her work will be on the front cover of each yearbook.  Second place goes to Alex Regalado, a 4^th grader from Myrna Thomas’s class, whose artwork will be on the back cover of each book.  The front inside page will feature artwork by Johnny Galaviz, also a 4^th grader in Mrs. Thomas’s class. 

Other artists whose work earned top recognition are:  Griscelda Hernandez, Charley Luc, Shaun Williams, Saul Uloa, Maria Velazquez, Karla Mejia, and Christian Escalera.  The work of these students will be featured throughout the yearbook.  These students also will receive certificates at the next Honors Assembly.

The entire student body, faculty, and staff vote on the entries.
