Fair Street Technology

At Fair Street School, students attend technology classes as part of their connections
curriculum.  Keyboarding skills are taught to all fourth graders. In addition, a mobile laptop lab is utilized by classroom teachers as a means to integrate technology into the
different units of instruction.  Students create artifacts, such as PowerPoint presentations, reports, digital art, and other graphic displays through the use of the school's technology equipment.

The Media Center is equipped with resources that enable students to electronically access the card catalog to search for books or other data. We also have 70 networked computers in the classrooms that allow students to access all of the instructional software as well as the Internet.
