School  Improvement Council
2006 - 2007

The School Council shall have such powers and duties as provided by law for the purpose of:

•   Helping the local board of education develop and nurture
    participation of parents and school community members in
    school improvement
  

•   Bringing parents and the community together with teachers
    and school administrators to create a better understanding
    of and mutual respect for each other's concerns.
  

•   Sharing ideas for school improvement.
