A total of 180 contacts (including home visits, student contacts, and parent contacts) were made to GHS students with attendance and related issues for the 1^st semester.

II. New Student Home Visits

For our home visits for new students, we had two categories of students outlines as follows:

· 65 students were new or enrolled for the 2006-2007 school year during the summer prior to the start date of August the 4^th.

· 75 new students enrolled during the 1^st semester, but after 8/4/06.

· This gave us a grand total of 140 new students. Of these 140 new students, 72 were freshman and 68 were upperclassmen.

· Of those 68 upperclassmen, we made home visits on 44 and 9 of those visits resulted in wrong addresses or no one being home. 15 addresses were County residents we did not make contact with.

· Of the 72 freshman. We called all 72. We made contact with 44 parents. 24 numbers were incorrect or no longer in service. There were 4 numbers where we got no answer.
