Gainesville High
School Cares About Our Hispanic
Community 100%
Gainesville High School
wants to share ways to help your child improve and receive the best education.
We have a program in which you can log on a computer at home or at work and
find out how your child is doing. It’s very easy…so here are step by step
instructions on how to log on to Gainesville Home Page and find your child’s
grades. First, when you registered your child at our school you were given a PIN
(Personal Identification Number) or ID number. The PIN is what you will need to
log on. When you know your PIN number, go to a computer and type in the
following address, www.gcssk12.net. Once you log on to the home page, scroll down
and look for Parent Resources where there are many options. Here you can check our school’s calendar, you
can read our discipline code, and you can also access Parent’s PowerSchool. PowerSchool is where you can see
your child’s grades. It is important for you to check this regularly and it is
equally important your child knows you’re checking PowerSchool. Also, on
this home page you can visit our Homework Hotline where you can see
your child’s homework assignments which are posted daily or on a weekly basis.
Once you have entered the Homework Hotline, make sure you remember or write
down your PIN number.
We told you it was easy so log on
as soon as possible! Giving you the tools to stay connected is one more way Gainesville High School is letting you know we CARE 100% about our Hispanic community. If you
have any questions or need additional assistance with this process please call Gainesville High School at (770) 536-4441 and ask
for either, Dr. Youngblood or Ms. Eileen Toledo, GHS
Hispanic Outreach Coordinators.
