Our mission incorporates the idea that all students can
and will learn. How this plan will be developed will
involve numerous aspects such as effective lesson
planning for quality instruction, making learning
relevant to all students, modeling and demonstrating to
students what is expected, using technology to enhance
instruction and learning, providing professional
development that will address curriculum and
instructional needs, and most importantly involving
parents and the community in the school setting.
Individually any one of these areas can form a link to
helping our students prepare for the future, but
collectively utilizing all of the components will ensure
a strong commitment to quality education for all. Our
staff at Gainesville Middle School is dedicated,
creative, and hard working. They spend many hours
planning, meeting, and evaluating curriculum and
instruction within the academies in order to present the
best educational package for our students.
Many work after school hours providing academic support
to students with various skills and concepts. Our
mission is but a single sentence, but our work involves
much more. Our commitment to quality education will
produce successful results. We will continue to do what
is necessary to ensure student learning. It is our
mission; it is our goal.
