Peer Mentors

The Peer Mentors were established in 2007 as a group of students who would  serve the student body at Gainesville High School by communicating positive peer influence to those surrounded by negative peer pressure and to be tutors for students at risk of failing classes. All Peer Mentors maintain a B average and have no disipilnary referrals. The Peer Mentors receive training on there mentoring skills through the Gainesville Center Pointe Facility.The Peer Mentors were the first group of it's kind in Hall County and was founded by Gene Earls, GHS Graduation Coach.
