Universal Screeners
All students in Gainesville City Schools assesses the reading and math skills of students in kindergarten through grade 12 at the beginning, middle, and end of the school year. These scores provide information for teachers and parents/guardians about whether students' reading and math skills are on grade level, or if they are behind and need extra and urgent help. It is extremely important for parents/guardians and teachers to pay close attention to every child’s progress.
